Version numbers and Update Philosophy
We follow a clear path with our version numbers and software updates. This shall be introduced here in a few words. Changes of the Sub-Minor comprise usually bug-fixes or smaller improvements of the functionality. These Updates are usually free via download.
A change of the Minor version provides new features, also bigger ones.

Older scheme before we adopted the newer and generally more often used scheme of Major, Minor, Sub-Minor. Changes of the second decimal comprise little improvements or extensions of the functionality. These Updates are usually free via download.
A change of the first decimal provides new features, even bigger ones.
